Paget's Disease

Paget's disease, otherwise known as osteitis deformans, is a chronic disorder that typically results in enlarged and deformed bones. The excessive breakdown and formation of bone tissue that occurs with Paget's disease can cause bone to weaken, resulting in bone pain, arthritis, deformities and fractures. About one million people in the United States have Paget's disease.

Spasm

A spasm is a sudden involuntary muscle contraction. They can also occur in a group of muscles, a hollow organ or an orifice. Spasms are frequently accompanied by a quick burst of pain, though it is usually harmless and ends after a few minutes. Nobody really knows what causes spasms, but they may be due to a large number of medical conditions.
